2022 Projects
FHGT projects in 2022 included:
- Completion of our volunteer food scrap drop off site at MacDonald Park, as the City restarted its official FSDO service nearby at the FH Sunday greenmarket
- Beginning of our volunteer FSDO service at Commonpoint, formerly the Queens Y, on 108th St.
- We sent questionnaires to NY State Senate candidates, conducted interviews, and issued endorsements
- We composted an op-ed on NYC composting policy
- We organized a Day of Healing
